Default Amp won't turn on

Hey i was reading some posts on the forums for help, and i came across one that said if RCA were used to hook up the headunit and amp it would be better well i have that and my amp was working perfectly till yesterday when it wouldn't turn on. I checked the fuse in the hood of the car and it is fine all other wires are fine. It is an audiobahn DUB8001 800W and the subs are 2 12' Kicker CompVr. If anyone knows whats wrong please reply thanks.

what kind of radio? if you have a voltmeter and know how to use it you first need to check for power at the amp connections.

again we need to test for voltage at the amp connections. If you do not have a voltmeter you can get a testlight from an autoparts store for $10. We need to check for power at the power, ground and remote at the amp.

I know you said you checked your wires, but also check where your ground wire leads, If your ground wire is still on a painted frame, or has come loose, your amp will not turn on.

Thats the exact problem that drove me nuts for days when I was installing my amp.

Grounding = important.
