I just installed a JVC KD-G230head unit in my 89 LX and it turns on and plays the cd but there is no sound I also tried the radio and nothing happened

I adjusted the volume and checked the plugs but didn't notice anything out of the ordinary.

I was wondering if anyone else had similar problems with this or any other unit. Or if you have heard of this happening before and what might be the problem.

Right now the "stock" radio/casette playeris in and it works fine.

Any help is appreciated...

 

Make sure all of you connections in the wiring adapter are correct and use a multimeter to check your corresponding voltgaes.
