Putting sirius in 2007 GT
I just got a 2007 GT w/shaker 1000 and wanted to hook up the sirius receiver I already had. What's the best way to do it if I don't want to use the crappy FM modulator? I've read that the aux jack is only for ipods or devices designed for headphones, but would it work well connecting it to the line out on my sirius? Or is it better to take the time to put in something like a PIE adapter that is wired into the HU and connects to the receiver with a RCA-1/8' plug?
I think your best bet is the PIE adapter from what I tried to read available...
Here's something I found that might work, not too sure though. You use RCA's as an input.

I think it uses the factory's CAN bus or RSE connector or something. There's three connectors on it. I'm not too knowledgeable about the shaker 1000 so I'm not sure if this is correct but it looks like it.

I just bought this one off the lot and didn't see anything about sirius on the sticker. I thought you needed a special HU, or is the shaker 1000 already sirius-ready?
I'm picking it up in an hour, so I haven't gotten a chance to play around with it yet.

Mine had Sirius all set up for me when I picked it up and it only had the Shaker 500. You should have the little bump on the trunk lid for the antenna.
The Sirius receiver is in the trunk on the passenger side and it plugs happily into the back of the Shaker.

Yes, your shaker 1000 is sirius ready. check your trunk for the tuner. If you don't have a tuner you could use the sirius you already have, and yes you could use the line in. just need to find the right plug ins.
