I am interested in this topic as well. Which car alarm provides the greatest security to autotheft? Have they improved the tracking ability or remote disabling ability (once recognized as missing/stolen) on the latest systems in the US? I know the UK has a few great ones like the Cobra 2112 but the service is only available in Europe. Any advice would be appreciated!
The Code Alarm system. CA-680 I believe. Awesome. In another thread I posted the info about adding the call-in feature, which it's an automated phone number you can call and tell you car to do anything if your remote is out of range. I am pretty sure they can use that part to track where your vehicle is too.
Thats pretty slick!

I work at Circuit City, and we sell the python 990 installed for like $570. All the installers have this alarm, because it has a lcd screen and a 1 mile radius on the remote. Just my opinion.
