Mobile TV
I've been messing around with the Visteon setup in my Expedition. I just bought a universal remote for the VCR so I can change channels now and get some use out of it. It has a tv amplifier unit that the cable/antenna runs though, but when I use it, it seems to get worse reception.
My question is, does anyone have experience with seperate antennas for tv channels for their cars? I'd like to get some better reception and be able to watch some local channels before the football season starts.

RE: Mobile TV
Check out Ebay for TV Tuners for your Car. I had the same problem with my head unit, bought a TV Tuner Amplifier, plugged it into the antenna, plugged it into the head unit, and bingo, get decent reception.

Is this similiar to the antenna you are/were using?

RE: Mobile TV
Pretty close. Mine had a "Shark Fin" type antenna that mounted outside the window ontop of the car, somewhat like Sirius Radio style.
Yours will work fine. Be sure to tell me how it turns out.
