hi , just wondering if anybody could help me figuring out a small problem with the shaker 500. just bought a GT convertible 2007 equiped with a shaker 500. first time tried to load cd's , just keep showing "initializing" and thennothing. impossible to slide a cd in there!! am i doing something wrong or is it busted? thanks for ur help. luc

 

I'm also a new GT owner, but had a very similar functioning deck in my '06 Focus. All that should be necessary is to press the load button, after which it should display "select CD". Press the number corresponding to the CD you want to load, and it should then position itself and show "Insert CD" (wording might not be exact, but that's the process). I haven't checked my manual, but is there anything in there about a reset process, etc? Here's hoping it just starts working fine for you!
