Need HELP!!! Searched everywhere
I got an 03 Stock V6 Stang with stock radio. I found one site that covered wiring diagrams for my radio, but Im still left with a black and green and two other ones. What are they, can I just leave them behind?
My Sony cdx-gt210 covered most of the wiring but the remaining ones Im left clueless. I need help.
So far I got these wires covered
Orange/Green - Blue/White- Left Front
White/Green - Green/Orange -Right Front
Gray/Blue - Tan/Yellow - Left Rear
Orange/Red -Brown/Pink - Right Rear
Black - Ground
Orange/Light Blue - Ant REM
Black/Pink +
Light Green/Violet S+

I'm just throwing this out there, but maybe those are the wires that connect the stereo to the CD changer, if its seperate from your regular radio. Not sure, but i know i had some extra wires when i put a new one in on my 2000.

As long as all your speakers are functionaly I don't see any harm and just crimping the end of those wires(just in case you figure out you do need them) and leave them there.
You should have spent the 6 dollars at wal mart to get an adapter. It is much easier to wire as a beginner and if someone decides to steal your HU they leave your factory wires in place.
one of them is more than likely going to be for the dimer, so that you could adjust the brightness of your radio lights along with those on the rest of the dash. I agree with mustang cat... if the system is operating as it's supposed to be, just crimp the wires and let it be. I also agree with PReal... God invented radio adapters for a reason
