I wanna ask the same question Hybris1 asked - the speedvolume on the factory unit is obviously using some kind of speed signal wire, right? If so, can we use the same wire on the factory harness for the Pioneer unit? I don't think anyone mentioned that... ( except for the Hybris1 unanswered question )

My amps are not turning on, on that harness, the bigger one that goes to the car (not the radio side) there is a blue/white wire, is that supposed to go to one of the sides of the regulator too? right now as i have it is the smaller car side harness has 2 blue/white wires going to it then the other side goes to the radios harness. Then there is the one on the bigger harness but it doesn't go anywhere right now because I wasn't sure where to put it.

So just did a test, removed the regulator and the amps do pop so I think I just need to get a new regulator, must have got a faulty one or blew it out some how... going to radio shack to grab one now
