Default Ordered some Goodies =D

Got some bass coming soon. I ordered one of these:
http://www.edesignaudio.com/edv2/pro...products_id=31 (The Dual 2 version with the Silver Cone)

To power it I ordered:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...:IT&ih=002

I am going to build a basic box within specs for it to hit the way it was meant to (actually taking old peices of MDF and building one). I am then going to bridge the amp into 4 ohms and then wire it as a Series. Would this be correct?

Thanks for the help and comments.

Thanks, I will definitely let you know if I have any questions once I get everything. I have seen and heard so many good things about Elemental Designs - I have a feeling I am going to be a fan for life.

Just remember you bought the K series, it's their budget end so, dont be hoping for insane output, expect reliability and good overall performance, remember you spent $100!

I just need some tight hitting bass. I expect what I ordered will do the job nicely. I have a question though - my headunit came with one subwoofer output wire. Would it hurt if I split that into two and then ran the RCA cables like normal?

Sub output wire?

Are you saying your headunit only has one pre-out? RCA pre-out I mean by the way.

It has Front, Rear and Subwoofer RCA outputs but the Subwoofer one is blue and its just one wire I believe.

Its the 9312. I got it used from a buddy because it wouldn't fit in his new car, which worked out for me because its the model I was getting ready to buy in the first place.

Take a look at the 6th picture down:
http://www.sonicelectronix.com/viewpics.php?id=9148

On the right of the cluster, there are 3 sets of Red/White RCAs, 1 of which is the Front Channel, 1 is the Rear Channel, and one is the input audio for the Satellite box in my trunk. The Blue one is marked subwoofer. That is the only wire for it as far as I can tell.
