I have had 2 12" PowerBass 2XL Subs and a 1800 PowerAcoustik amp for 3 months waiting to have the extra cash to get it installed. So I find out that I can have them installed at Best Buy and pay with my Best Buy CC. So they're getting ready to drop the box and it will not go in at all. They say they don't have a smaller box, so I had to have them unwire the speakers and amp and I left.

My problem is that I have heard different things from different people. One person told me that I would only have to relocate the 2 stock amps. Another told me all I would need is a converter. And the guy at Best Buy told me that the whole back sound bar would have to come out and the entire car would have to be re-ran with new speakers and all.

What am I suppose to do to have the system installed. I have no clue where to turn or what to ask to have done.

 

Go in pissed off and tell them you waited to save up money and you bought all that and the salesman knew what car it was going in and they told you it would fit and tell them you want all your money back. If you raise enough hell they will refund the money, regardless of how long ago you bought it, granted it wasn't 3 years ago.

What factory system is in your car right now? Is there an aftermarket deck?

 

don't listen to any of them. You can do almost anything with the 460 and still get some descent sound. give us a list of what is in the car and what you are putting in it and we can get you through it.
