Default Remote wire help!

I tried going to the fuse box, but it seems that the fuse box stays hot even when the car stays off. So where is my next spot of choice and how do I do it??? thanks!

you need to start checking individual fuses IN the fuse box. There will be one that will come on with the key a voltmeter or testlight should only take a second to find it.

take out your owners manual. go to the page talking about fuses. look at the fuse diagram for the fuse box located in the passenger kick panel. there is one called "radio" or "stereo" or something like that. Use a fuse tap to add the remote wire to that fuse. that'll do it

When i did mine i ran it to the daylights fuse since they only come on when the car is on. I think it is #30. i hope you are going to the fuse box under the dash.
