Anyone ever modify/remove the 460 amp mount?

Has anyone ever removed that black plastic thingy that runs along the top of the trunk under the rear speakers?

yea i did not too long ago, its not hard at all. just like 4 bolts

Yea... It didnt look hard. I just didnt know if there was any like wires hidden in there or something. So where did you move the amps to? Did you just bolt them back up just without the plastic thing? Or did you even put them back in at all?

what are you wanting to do? When most people remove them they are not looking to move them. If you ahve a aftermarket deck you will be better off ditching them.

There are 2 bolts hidden under each of the amps on the end. you have to pull them down, then the enclosure

Yea... I took it out to make room for a sub box. Im keepin the 460 and just addin subs and an amp.
