Here come the JL huggers out of the woodworks......

He posted this as a joke. If you stick around the car audio section long enough and learn to read it is quite obvious this was for s and g's.

Sony actualy makes some descent bottom of the line units. They are not comparable to ecipse or alpine IMO, but they compare the the lower level pionner stuff.

JL is made by JL, not in some mass produced factory, with low grade pos's

They might be assembled in a JL factory, but basically every major manufactorer uses the same production facilities and simply uses different tooling to create differnt woofers.

$20 on youre 17-19, never had anything else than Duals and Rocford Fosgates. Right? well atleast im close..
Here we go, keep up please..
Alright your name is Jimmy Limmy, and you want a sweet audio company.
you have your designs, very nicely appealing to the eye and decent to the amatuer crowd, but WHERE OH WHERE are you going to manufacture? USA? no way! thats too expensive, you must make a fortune out of your company! CHINA! yeah, thats really cheap labor over there! okay, so if you are penny pushing, and trust me there is not a single company in this world that doesnt want to make money at what they do, you want to get in as fast and cheaply as possible. Are you going to open your own factory, buy your own machinery, hire your own employees who have to be experienced and have a good niche for what they are doing, have a represenative overconstantly to watch over operations and manage, ship, box, get material contracts, make your own calls to worldwide distributors? NO F***ING WAY! you are going to use some experienced production plant that makes products for other companies. There are many many disadvantages to manufacturing overseas, but i wont get into it right now.just know the steel here is stronger and purer grade than most foriegn countries. and we also dont use LEAD PAINT in Thomas the Train Toys for toddlers. anyways, JL and at the least 50% of most companies use a few select factories that produce all sorts of brand names in the same plant.
thanks.!
