Police Scanner

I am looking to take out my stock radio and install a Police Scanner in place of it, but I am not sure what scanner would fit inside my mustang and what external attena would be good. Any suggestion?

lol, nope. I just like to listen to police and fire rescue. I work for the fire department.

u do know that its illegal even if ur a firefighter/?

checked with cops, not here in the state of Maryland, listening to the cellular band on the scanner is illegal though.

ok well then don't come to florida cuz it is here and i would have 1 in my car if it was legal here.

Just get one of those portable ones shaped like a walkie talkie. Thats what I used to carry around in my car when I knew we were going out to do alot of racing.
