Default el glow gauge set/ setting needles back

I just bought some new gauges. I ended up having to take the needles off the gauges to get the new one on. I took pics of the original settings on the old gauges and put them back where they were, but when I started the car they were off on all of them. Does anyone know if there is a way to reset these back to the originals or do I have to keep taking it apart and readjusting them. Please help if you can.

what year is your car? if it is a fox, you did not have to take the needles off!

I know at least on the rangers that the needle for the tack and speedometer are actually wieghted differently and will not work right if you switch them, don't know if it is the same in a mustang.........

Is the car still under warranty? might be time for a dealer stop.......

I am about 99.9 percent sure that the needles are exactly where they came from. If so, how much is the dealer going to charge?

well the smart thing to do is start your car let it sit a few seconds then take a pic.. turn your car off do the install then when your ready to set needls back start car again let it sit for a few seconds and install them according to your pictures.. if you did not do that like i didnt.. then your ***** not really but its a pain

first i went for the speed.. lol honestley i drove nexed to a friend with cruis controll on and put that needle back on.. and checked it with a few school zone speed traps nearby...

for the gas i filled the tank completley up set the needle just above full.. when my low fuel light came on.. i guess i got luckey and it was just at the begining of the red line... or just ajust some more intell ur happy lol..

battery well i kinda just cheated on that one and centerd it.. im purty shure it was befor and it seams to be reading corectley for a while now..

the hard one is your temp and rpm.. im luckey so i took it to a friend that works at a nearby shop with a dyno.. he hooked my car up just let it idle and set it according to his computer.. as for the temp gadge i dunno ur outa luck on the lol i just kinda guessed with mine

If you dont have a friend with a dyno post arround the forums see if anyone knows what the stock idle is for your year.. that is if u are stock.... also mustangs like to have a rev limiter... i suspose u could set it that way to
