Default XM radio help

I'm going to be getting the Roady2 xm radio kit for my 02 GT conv. The kit comes with the cassette adapter and a built-in FM modulator. My Mach system doesn't have a cassette so I will have to use the FM modulator. I've read where it doesn't have the best sound quality if you use it that way. Is there any other way to connect it to have the best quality sound? Also, where should I mount the micro antenna, to the outside of the car or on the dash near the windshield?

PIE makes an adapter to work with the Ford 6 disc player, but it only works on certain years. I don't recall exactly what years those are, but I think your 02 will work. Go to the XM board that crazhorse posted and ask around there. They will know the answer.
