you can get it on ebay for 250$, add 30$ to have it painted to match your car. rediculous price imo. just do a search for mustang enclosure

they are infinity reference, i have one infinity perfect 12.1 ready to go in as soon as i get another, i got it when it was on sale for half price so i am waiting for another sale as i am to cheap to pay full price, the references sound pretty good but not near as good as the perfects. I also thought that the box was a high price, but once you see the quality of the work it is worth paying the few extra bux. i got it from www.tccustomz.com .

and heres a pic of my car pc install, it turned out great.

for my install i used a laptop and had an external power button wired into it, I put my laptop behind my rear passenger seat. i baught the touchscreen on ebay for $230, i ran the wires under the consol and past the shifter. I also ran the Auxilliary imput cable from the laptop to my deck. I am writing this at school so I will correct it later as I am typins this pretty fast.

yea its great until the airbag goes off......... Have you ever seen one of the videos of an airbag under a trashcan?

http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...&plindex=0

Next time you are driving take a good look over at that thing and it seems to me the pc screen would be directly between yer head and the airbag? It is not a good idea to mount anything infront of an active airbag. I would really say you should disconnect the bag or more then likely figure something else to do with that screen. Its a neat idea man but the execution is a little off still.

I thought the box looked familiar. $250 for that box is not a bad deal, if you had to make one what would you charge? There are maybe $50 in parts but there are more then a few hourse of sanding involved. I like the system over all but the it does look a little too "slid in" for me. I would rather the system blend into the car a little better rather then sticking out of it. I am willing to bet it doesn't sound too bad.
