4 gauge wire to nine 2 connection quick ?
Ok i installed my nine.2 amp and everything sounds pretty good if you ask me. My "problem" is that i had to cut about 1/2 of the 4 gauge wire to make it fit into its hole on the amp. I think i should have made my amp rack a little differant because its kind offorcing the ground and power cablesto make a sharp angle and im worried about my cables, since they are have the thickness as usual and at a funny angle, pulling out or the little strands of wire breaking. Would there be any crimp on spade style connectors that i can crimp onto the cable and just hook the other end up to the amp? like this maybe??

Crimp and solder...
When your wire is too large to fit into the amp input, either...
A. Get a connector
B. Trim as absolute minimal as possible (as in the actual wire strands) and pinch as best you can with your fingers and give it a slight twist to compact everything as best possible. Slide it in the terminal slow and strait to make sure the individual wires don't stray away and possibly leave one a short distance to a ground or remote input you may see a few jumping sparks.

what does the connection look like? Is it a screw type that you put a spade or a ring under or is it where you can stick the entire wire in it and then tighten it down? I founda couple of alpine 4 to 8 awg reducers the may work for your application.
the terminal on the amp is a little plastic box with a gold screw on top that tightens down a clamp onto the wires would these reducers help?

you are really not gaining anything from running 5 awg to the amp, it is not designed for it. If that wire does come loose you will have some sparks on your hand before the fuse pops up front. I would consider a distrobution block and split it down to 8 awg.
