Default vert head rest speakers

Have a 2001 Cobra convert and find that the Mach 460 system copes ok with the windows up and top down ,but lower the windows and you lose all volume to the wind noise.So question is ,has anyone installed small speakers in their head rest to over come this problem.Had a Mazda rotary convert before the Mustang and it had head rest speakers and it was ok as far as windows up or down with the top down.So if anyone can give an Aussie some help as to what to use and how to wire it would be greatly appreciated.

I have never seen anyone make them, I know the old pontiac fieros had them as well. It would not be to terribly different from mounting a video screen. First step is to take the cover off and see what kind of frame is inside of the foam that you can mount the speaker to.

Otherwise if you want to cut down on the wind noise, quit stickin yer head out the window. I know how you aussies do it,I saw it on a fosters commercial!

I know, that was the joke.... I was traveling through europe when I ended up crashin with some aussie's in a hostel in london. When they found out that I was from indiana the asked if my mom drove a wood paneled station wagon, but they were suprised to hear she had a mustang gt(now in my garage). I of course hit them with the same incorrect stereotype that the loved fosters. Its funny how it is almost insulting to you guys when we say that since there certainly are worse beers.......

And for product recomendations the others will probably have to help you there. I am the installer that does not like to get caught on the sales floor. I am a wrench..... What brands are available to you? Yer not like out in the middle of nowhere next to the dingo fence are ya? We can make recomendations all day but if you don't have them down south we are wasting time.

Thanks,any help recommending any thing would be a great help because we live in the electronic world and EBAY is only a click away. Funny how people react when you say you are an Aussie,in Philly a couple of years ago was asked in the lift by some high school kids where my accent was from, and when i said Australia ,one remarked that that was great as her grandfather came from there and she would love to visit there and also see what Germany was like.Needless to say she was a bit taken aback when i explained she was talking about Austria, i an sure she did not know where Australia was!!

Welcome to the US, I got your story beat about stupid people that should have paid attention in geography. I was sitting for what I was sure was going to be the worst day of my life in community college hell after taking some time off from school and then going back. The girl behind me was talking about how a friend of hers transfered to the sister college in england for a year and had a great time. She commented that she would love to do that, but that she could not since she did not speak french. I could not help but turn around and explain to her

ENGLAND = ENGLISH.

and that france was a great place to speak french.

I've been around the world and found that only stupid people are breeding.............
