What size wire? 8" sub.... 100watt amp.... how big? I have some 12gauge wire that I am using for all the speakers, and wondering if that 12gauge would work fine with no problems if goes to the sub...

fjor a amp that weak any decent size speaker wire will work fine. i think i was using 14 guage on my 2400 watt amp.

no offence but i wouldnt waste time with a 100 watt sub/amp. it would be more worthwhile to sell those and get some really nice speakers and a nice amp for those with a good head unit.

Sorry, im not rich. I got that stuff for free and got enough stuff over about 6 months to put together a stereo. I am not from a rich family and have a hard time buying the stuff I need in life and helping out with my family. But I guess I will just use some 14 gauge speaker wire I just bought. It took me awhile to save up $10 for that. Now i have to save up another $15-$25 to buy8ft of 8 gauge power wireto run to my battery and about 2ft of ground cable. I am asking for better stuff for christmas or my b-day....and once I find a job I will be better off and can have money for a nice stereo... mowing lawns for$10 each about 3x a week isnt very nice spending money especially when my car gets 12mpg city.

But for what I have to use, I appreciate it.I could care less if i was running 2tweeters... i will still appreciate it.

But thank you for answering my question

its not worth spending that much on speaker wire for just 100 watts...thats really weak...just keep it stock till you got money

Does anyone remember me saying it was near to FREE??

For my main + cable i used some 6 gauge battery cable that i had in my garage at the old house. Ghetto? Yes... but I could care less and it works.
