should have asked this before, what's the limit on the budget? Also, 2 new speakers means what? Front components i am guessing?

Under $500??? That is REALLY tough to do without buying something pretty bad.

In what kind of car is this going?

H/U-
Clarion DXZ475MP $150
or
Eclipse CD2000 $170 (CD3000 if you can swing it) $205
or
Pioneer DEH4900IB $145 (DEH5900IB if you can swing it) $180

Front Comps-
CDT CL-S60A (or variant, don't know the size or vehicle you have.) $100

Subs-
(1) Elemental Designs 11kv.2 $90

Box-
Build to eD's blueprint for vented$30

Amp-
Phoenix Gold R8.0 4 channel amp. $150

That puts you right around $500 with some careful shopping and installing yourself, minus wires, fuses, harnesses, etc. Hopefully P or ttocs or Hiss can jump on this and help out. I consider myself somewhere between novice and intermediate with this stuff. If you could commit more like $750 to what you want to do then it would work out real good. $500 is a nice amount to do just some subwoofer work. Use what i have written as a good starting point and go from there.
