cant hear crap from sub =(
I just recently bought an 04 Gt with the mach 460. First thing I did was put an aftermarket stereo in it (JVC KD-AVX33). I just finished install my amp and sub but I cant hear anything from my sub. Same thing happened with my 97 gt only I fixed it using another device that was uncomfortable and dont want to have to buy another. I hooked up the line out RCA's to the RCA that goes to the amp. I tried everysingle line out on that harness and nothing happened. Did I set it up wrong or what!?! Remote, power, and ground are all fine. Just that the amp isnt getting an audio signal. Need some advice on hooking it up or do I have to buy another amp.

check to see if the amp is turning on (power light, fan, anything). maybe dumb question but you hooked the remote line up right?
if the amp isnt turning on try getting like 1 foot of speaker wire, strip both ends (all 4 wires) and stick 1 end of each wire in the remote line and the 12v power line. then bridge the 2 remaining strands (basically your just attaching the 12v power line to the remote turn on). my last head unit something screwed up and the remote line was no longer throwing out any power so my amp wouldnt turn on. i temporarily wired a switch todo as i explained above until i found a decent power line that came on with the cars power to use instead of the remote from the deck.
