And i said how many times to keep the stock alt?????? Uh, never. A cap is a bandade of sorts but can solve headlight dimming (and you know it). If you are going to spend the money on 17ft of 0awg and 2 nice batteries with mounting hardware why in the hell would you notspend a couple $a decent alt.? You just take your version of how you are right because i didn't tell EVERY little thing to buy, oh by the way if you do use 0 gauge to run to the trunk you are either going to need a nice kit with distro blocks or ring terminals, don't want to forget to mention that because you may start b*tching about more parts in your next comment, oh crap, i forgot to tell you you'll need a nice ground wire too. Don't want to forget anything and get "schooled" lol, your funny.

Replace the battery or 2, throw them in the trunk because i said so

You did not mention anything about a stock alt, but you never even mentioned an alt?First words out of your mouth were---"You should be fine, if all else fails add a capasitor or do it right and relolacte the battery to the truck and add a second battery "
A cap IS a band aid, not of sort but IN GENERAL..... And adding a 2nd battery to a stock alt is stupid, do you agree? But if you do not know this then what do you get out of your comment after the words "do it right"?
The generally accepted order that things should go into the charging system is 1rst, big 3, 2nd bigger battery, 3rd bigger alt and then if you want to put #4 you can add a 2nd battery. I have never sold a cap in my life and that is because I do not like useless things....... Thankfully the shops I have worked in believed in doing it right, doingit once so a cap was never on the menu. You will learn this when you leave bby.
And now lets discuss the idea of bumping up the idle to compensate for the slower alt speed at idle. the only time the UDP will effect the charging system of the car is at idle correct?. Any time you get above 8-900 rpm you will be fine at 13.5-14V. The stock idle is 6-700 so if you follow the freegin instructions that come with the pullies and give your idle a 1-200 rpm bump your charging system will be fine. OH, you might loose a few MPG but if yer putting on pullies then you probably don't care.
