I think it will be hard to do. I know you cant install an amplifier onto an already amplified signal. If you can tap into the speaker wires before the amp, it may work. Have you considerd going with an aftermarket unit and a wiring harness for your car. That way you could hook the mach system up and add an amp and sub to the RCA outs of the aftermarket system.

i hooked mine up this way using the line out converter. the data cable that you use is before the stock amps, so you're bypassing them. i hooked a rockford fosgate 300 watt amp and bridged it to a 12 in a small sealed box. sounds awsome. i really like the stock system in my car and wanted to keep it. this worked out really well.

Yeah its a pain in the a**! If i were you i'd just replace your amps with one big one. Then you can run the one amp through your whole system. Get a 4 channel and then run it to your components and subs. But if you dont want subs get a 2 channel. But since you want bass im assuming you want subs, so go with a big 4 channel, that way instead of adding another amp and having like 4 amps you'll have one big one, with more power

If you have an aftermarket headunit it probably has pre-amp outputs on the back, which you can run right to an amp for subs...if thats what you mean. The stock 460 amps will run the speakers, and the new amp will run the subs. That's probably the easiest way.
