Default new system....need input

I'm new to the world of amps, never could afford what i wanted and didn't want to mess with junk. I'm wanting to build a quality sounding system. i want to use Infinity Kappas all around. They are good quality and very efficient. Now, for the amps, what is a good quality sounding amp that won't brake the bank? Is Memphis Car good amps? By their specs they look good. Anyone with real world experience with the Memphis amps. i've found some refurbished amps with full factory warranty. Oh did i say cheap!! Please feel free to offer Amp suggestions. I want clean sound, not interested in waking the dead...lol
I will be using a single 10" sub. Thanks for your time and any help.

I liked the ONE memphis that I installed for a buddy. It was a small class D, and it rocked his subs...

For about 6 months before it blew a toriod requiring it be shipped back(a buddy of mine was unable to fix it, it HAD to go back).

So that is my ONE experience[:-].

For a cheap, good amp, there is no way you can beat the performance and price of a profile.

You can buy a mono sub amp for as little as $60.

Ah, gotta love Profile. Just don't buy a Baja. Ick.

The Profile suggestion is your best bet, IMO. You can get Profile amps even cheaper if you're willing to buy one that's been refurbished from them.

For an entry level SQ system I would look into something like this...

HU - http://www.woofersetc.com/index.cfm?...roduct_ID=4951$210 Great value and features
Front stage - http://www.woofersetc.com/index.cfm?...roduct_ID=3341$200
Front stage amp - http://www.edesignaudio.com/edv2/pro...products_id=45$220 (The nine.2x is also very nice for $250 and has a little more power)(You could also get a profile amp of similar power for around $75)
Sub - http://www.edesignaudio.com/edv2/pro...products_id=34$155 Dual 4 ohm(Buy this and the amp together and get a discount on the package builder)
Sub amp - http://ikesound.com/product-product_id/6443$80 (If you want cheap) or an Elemental Designs Nine.2X for $250

That totals a little under $1000 total minus box supplies and wiring and is a great little system.

The 11Ov.2's are great subs (I have two sealed and they have great output and are very clean) and a NINe.1 (you won't need that much power but it is a great amp, just a testament to eD)

If I don't end up getting a Double DIN unit i am planning on going with an Eclipse CD3000 or 5000 HU and i want those comps!!

DAMMIT P!! Stop offering out my system!!!

You could always step up to the ES-620's if you find the need!
