Default Ipod FM module

Does anyone use this type of setup for playing thier ipod in thier vehicles? Not sure of sound quality/battery life/etc.

Pros/Cons?

I dont have a CD player for the winter truck I just bought. But I was just thinking of getting an ipod with the FM thingy instead of a CD player. The thought of not having my "cd bible" as I call it, laying out in my vehicles.

Sound quality is not good.
Reliablity is equally not as good.

It works but it's pretty much the worst route to do it in.
