IT's the v8 trying to break out! LOL Sounds like noise from the alternator. Check all the conections and make sure that they are shielded. May cut down on the noise. Are you running a cap? If not that may help take some of the strain off the car battery and alternator

Reroute your wires away from the tranny or anything which may let noise bleed in. Also, check to make sure you have a good solid ground.

I usually run seperate grounds for each piece of equipment. That should eliminate your noise. Also if you use RCA cables make sure they are not run on the same side as your power wires and make sure they are shielded cables

That will actually create "alternater whine". Creating different points where the electricity can alternate will create really bad noise.

Get rid of your EQ. I have never liked them and have seen too many create noise. Get some couplings and connect your RCA that go into your EQ with the RCA that go out. IF the sound goes away then it is your EQ.

Also make sure your grounds are good. If they are on metal make sure there is NO paint there.

If you have two gounded points and one has more resistance thant the other then alternator whine is bad.

Also make sure your battery is a good battery too. Your batter, believe it or not, is the best piece of audio equipment. If it is not good then it cannot filter that noise and therefore your speakers produce it.

I agree with Pure... if possible ground all electrical components to the same point, one heavy-as* bolt to the chassis! If this isn't possible, do it anyway!
