someone please help...mach 1000 has no bass at all
well i hate coming into a forum and asking a question as a firsy post but ive been reading alot on this site for awhile now and just now made a name.ive tried and tried and looked eveywhere and i cant figure it out so mabey somebody on here can help. ill start by saying i dont know much about audio systems. i can wire a simple system up but the mach system is way too complicated for me. the car has no bass at all. i pulled the amp box out to make sure everything was hooked up and it looked like the pervious owner had an aftermarket system in it because theres a bunch of little 3M connecters tapping into the wires. i really cant afford to take it anywhere to have it worked on right now. is there any website that shows a wireing diagram of the system? i dont even get any bass out of the door speakers and this doesn't make sence to me because i thought any speaker gets alittle bass from any stereo. i bought this car back in july and the salesman told me that for the bass to work i just needed to plug a wire back in. at the time it wasn't a big deal because it was the exact car i had been looking for. well its about to drive me crazy i want to get it fixed. can anyone on here help me? mabey i just need to hook the factory amps back up since it looks like they were bypassed. i can post up some pics tomarrow to help explain this. i really hope somebody on here knows these systems and can explain to me how they work

uh, sorry you hate to come here
, welcome to the forum anyway
start simple, check fuses. I am not going to give you a fuse to check because the circuits are often linked meaning that sometimes the bass will quit working and it is your windshield wiper fuse that blew, no joke.... Check EVERY fuse and by every I mean EVERY fuse including the ones by the battery. With the T-tapps that somebody left in there it could be anything but if the dealer had an idea where to look that would be great.
