I cant find the harness anywhere specifically saying 04 mustang gt. I can only find the metra 70-5519 which says 00-01 and the 70-5521 which says 03 up ford/lincoln/mercury integrated amp.

Anyone with a 04 gt. What harness did you use.

I want to plug in my rockford fosgate amp and subs to my factory system....i have tried the data wire splice, the door, the tweeter....Can't get anything that doesn't sound like crap....i have an extra slot on the back of my head unit in the middle for a harness to hook into..Probably for the 1000 subs and amps...Not sure, my care doesn't have them....I have being trying to make this work for a about a month am I am just at my wits end...Please help...Thanks alot Jason

The metra harness that you need is part number 5521. I was sold several wrong harnesses until I researched it myself. For a 2004 Mustang with mach 460 it requires the Metra 5521.

 

I have an 04, 3.9l and im trying to find a wiring harness for my car as well.
as you can see in the picture the wiring harness you listed wont connect to my factory harness. and i dont have a spot to plug the RCA harness. My stock radio says MACH on the front so it is a MACH system but idk what harness to use to get a aftermarket stereo in there. please help me out
