the amp doesnt get hot at all though...i mean during the summer it does... but it usually shuts off about 30 seconds into a song when i start "jammin"... some songs dont cut out at all. and some cutt out more than they play... ill try to re-wire the subs tomorrow, and i dont think its the cap b/c it was doing that b4 i got the cap(so i bought that hoping to fx it lol) also something wierd when im "jammin" my battery icon on the dashboard lights up? ive had my dads friend come out with hims snap-on computer and he tested everything and said that the alternator never dropped below 12.8V...

Remove the Cap!

It does nothing for your setup but put additional drain on the alternator.

Yes remove it, it really does nothing for you. Do the following, find a new ground (not a painted surface) check wires for pinches and cuts, make sure that no bare wires are touching. If you still have problems you might have to get a new amp. And it would not hurt to get a new battery since you said the light is coming on. Your battery is prob almost drained. Head to advance auto or auto zone and have them run a battery test. It's free!

Read the specs for the amp, it is rated at 4 ohm. You are completely overdriving that amp when you have it hooked up the way you do to what you have. You will need to do a series-parallel wiring system with those speakers to use that amp.

I had a similar problem with my setup and it ended up being a bad cap,
Thats funny, let me know when you find a good cap.

I'm not using one anymore, no need for it. Causes more problems than solves
