Default Pioneer AVIC-D3 Installation Question

Hey guys,
I know a lot of you on here have the Pioneer AVIC-D3 installed in your stangs and I am thinking about doing the same. This is a job I do not want to undertake on my own, I'm going to have it professionally installed. My question is if any of you had theirs professionally installed and if so, what was the total price? I am in central NJ and am considering either using an InstallCard from crutchfield, or trying to find a shop to get it done. So anyone got any prices, or places near central NJ you've used?

Thanks a lot!

Well I'm right near Jackson, NJ. I suppose I'll just have to call around and check prices, do most places offer some type of warranty on their work? For example, if they install it and fry some other wiring, or the device fails in a few days/weeks, they will make good on the problem?

Looks like we found the weak point in the chain if you let BBY touch yer car?

Some people can and want to install their own equipment and some people would rather pay. Let us know which one you are and we can find ya a reputable installer or help guide you along.

if your planning to have it professionally installed you need to inform them of where to tie in the illumination wire, as well as do the 12v to 5v regulator as well if you have a shaker 500/1000 system, and you'll also need to pay em off if you want to choose a new route of navigation when driving and/or watch videos while moving. Just some other things to think about as well.

DO NOT install @ best buy. 90% of their installers are morons. go to a real car audio shop. ask them if they warantee their work.

although with some reasearch you could do it yourself, or ask a local to do it for a nominal fee. id be happy to do it for you, for a descent bottle of liquor, but you'd have to drive to long island.
