i was given a ****load of 2 gauge power wire, so i dont wanna go out and buy zero when 2 gauge will suffice... but im having difficulty finding regular terminals to fit it.

will the screw-down terminals made by a company like stinger,(something like this) fit a 2 gauge, or will i have to worry about it falling out?? ive only ever worked with zero, or 4 gauge before, and both my amps need 4 gauge, so i dont want to run a main power wire of 4 gauge!!

If it says it takes0awg for something, the best wires to use are 0, 2, and 4 awg. Any other gauge will work but youll just screw it tighter to fill the connection.

 

if you use something like that with a screw that tightens it will hold it will just look as silly as you did at age 5 with your dads shoes on.

i found a 0 awg kit for less than 50 bucks on darvex.com, so i just figured, screw it.

running 2 hifonics amps, zeus series, one pushes 110x4 @ 2ohm, the other 500x2 @ 2ohm. both have 4awg terminals for power and ground.

now that the 0 kit is coming, going to run the 0 for power down the center console, under the carpet, and under the back seat, through a fused distro block, splits it into 2 4 awg outputs, should work just fine.

admin/mods can delete/lock this thread as its no longer necessary.

 

you are going to have fun running 0 awg through you consol. I ran 4 awg and put my dist block in the consol and it barely fit. it is somewhere in my cardomain page if you want to get ideas.
