Default Stock Radio CD Error

So my Mach 1000 head unit tells me that all of the CD slots are full, but when i try to eject a cd it says, "CD Error." Now i know yall are all gonna tell me to just go aftermarket with the whole thing, and i'm gonna do that eventually, but it'd be nice to fix the CD player until i come up with that kinda money. Any suggestions?

Do the discs get stuck when trying to eject? If so, that's fairly common with those head units. I usually grabbed another CD and try to work the stuck CD out of the slot.

It started happening way too often on mine, so yes, I went aftermarket. Heh.

somebody did a write up on how to fix it some time ago, try a search. The loading mechanism slips off of the track often.
