Does your radio turn on just no sound? If so then you are grounding a speaker.

If the radio does not turn on then you blew a fuse or have exposed wires somewhere. Not just the radio fuse blows if your radio does not turn on.

There are two power wires for a radio to turn on. Batt and Ign. The Ign will be the fuse you might assosiate with the radio not turning on. But the Batt wire will be fused with the domelights.

Check all fuses with a voltmeter. There are fuses in the car and under the hood.

Make sure that all your wires have electrical tape and that no wires are exposed. They check ALL your fuses. Pull them all if you don't have a voltmeter to check them.

Also if you do have a voltmeter and dont' know how to check...set the voltmeter to check continuity. This is usually with the ohms and has a sound icon. When you touch to the leads together you sound get the meter to beep. Then check all fuses by the exposed metal on the side. If the meter does not beep then there is no connection...bad fuse.
