Well, I installed my Avic D3, thanks to the help of the sticky in this forum, but had one wiring question that is not answered. The purple reverse wire that needs to be tapped, what wire do I tap that into? Someone said a white wire with yellow stripe in the passenger door sill, but there are 3 wires that are all exactly the same. I am not hooking up a reverse camera, so is this wire really necessary to hook up? Any help would be appreciated.

 

Not needed if no backup camera. I ran mine to the taillight when I ran my camera wire.
