Default Help adding bass to 06 shaker 500

I have an 06 stang with the Shaker 500. I would like to add more bass either by adding the shaker 1000 woofers or aftermarket sub and amp. Any recommendation on which way would be better? If I add the Shaker 1000 to my 500 is it pretty much plug and play? Is the harness in the car where I can just plug it in? If I go with aftermarket where would you recommend hooking RCA converter up at? If anyone has a wiring diagram that would help me.

Ya I agree there is better stuff than Shaker but I'd like to keep it simple though.. I have a Kicker amp and speaker I can put in my car, but I guess main thing is where can I hook the amp up to the radio? I am guessing my only choice is to splice it into the rear speaker wires??? I am guessing though that would mess something up because it will be going through both amps then.. I guess I would have to hook it up right behind the radio.

it really is not worth the time to upgrade to a 1k system. There are alot of small bass packages that you can put in to fill in the low end that the 500 lacks. You can tap your signal for the amp in the back by the factory amps, but the system will brighten up significantly with a new deck and rca's going to it.

I want to keep the factory deck at least for now, might upgrade later. Where are the factory amps on the 500 system? And you know what color the wires are for the 2 rear speakers? Pos and neg?
