I decided to top off the system I built for my '69 with XM satellite. Chose XM because I love O&A, and I know they just went off the premium channel (I would have spent the extra couple of bux to listen to them anyway)...the Myfi appealed to me becuase of its ability to record up to 5 hours of live broadcast, which I would use soley to record O&A's shows daily. Anyway, I ordered the Myfi, and its showing up sometime this week. I'm just wondering if anyone else has used one, and what kind of feedback they have on it. Thx...

Got one....had it since Christmas time.

It is very nice and works just as great as the other XM components when the car ant and the home ant is plugged up to it.

The only problem is it fades alot when trying to be used portable. It does work but it doesn't work as well as one would like.

This is why they made the 5 hr internal recorder. So you can leave it plugged in at night and record while you sleep...then listen during the day.

IMO i like it...but if you soley bought it for portability you might not give it a high score.

I don't plan on using it JUST for the portablilty. I had heard bad things about the portability before I bought it, so I know what I'm in for.

The portability is not that bad. People just do not know how to use it properly.

If you know exactly how the system works and how the satellite works you probably will only get a few patchy signals while going portable.
