I'm trying to intall a Kicker amp and two 12'into my car and refuse to buy a kit from BB or CC.
Here are the specs on the amp:

this should work for your amp

you could use a smaller guage kit but it would be better to go larger first instead of trying to upgrade later and having to get thicker guage

1/0 is overkill for that amp, and alot of amps at that, you could easily run a large mono and a decent size 2 or 4 channel off a 4 ga kit. And that kit is only the power wires, you still need RCA's and a remote wire.
Better off with something like this.

Or if you want to save a couple bucks...
http://www.knukonceptz.com/productDe...prodID=KOL-AK4
Or the cheapest

All will work fine, the last ones power wire is made from most aluminum as opposed to the others that are oxygen free copper. The benefits are apparent there.

Stinger is excellent, just over priced. They are the next/new Monster Cable.
i used to sell their stuff 10 years ago and they were a great company to deal with. about 3 years ago a buddy and i decided to bring a CRX to daytona and enter it in some spring break nationals competitions. we built the car (and painted it) in 1 week, so when we got to daytona we were still adjusting things and working the bugs out. after thinking we had a RCA splitter problem we went over to the stinger booth to see if they could sell us any the sales rep heard our situation and gave us a whole sh*t load of connectors / splitters / wires for free.
its that kinda customer service that would make me feel comfortable paying a little extra for their product. not to mention 20 years in the business, they have pioneered many of the wiring technologies and designs used by so many other companies today. for all those reasons i'll continue to stay brand loyal.
oh yeah, and the problem with the CRX ended up being those piece of crap jumbo blade style fuses in walmart car stereofuseholders that were loose in their sockets. when the bass would hit it was causing them to loose connection and the amps were going into protect or turning on and off. sucks, cause we had 2 15's, 6 12's, and 210's squeezed into that damn 2 seater car along with amps to power everything and like 4 extra batteries.

I didnt think about that sieght, I just got tired of having to change to larger wire and just start off with 1/0. didnt think it could hurt anything. even with a smaller amp wouldnt larger wire help with voltage drops?
