amps not on

well i got my new alpine cda-9884 installed today at a shop. everything seemed fine but theres like no bass in the car. i tried searching around and i belevie its because the amps arent turning on. wut wire is used to turn on the amps and what can i do to fix this. thanks guys

The most common way I have seen/done is to run the remote wire from the power antenna wire to the amp. On your amp there should be a spot for a wire that says rem, that is your remote wire. That tells the amp to turn on when the radio is on. Also take a multimeter and verify that you are getting power to the amp from the battery and when the radio is on the remote wire should be hot too. First thing I would do though is check all your fuses(including the one on the wire coming from your battery to the amp)to make sure none of them are blown. Hope this helps.

if you paid for it I would print up page 2 of my cardomain page and take it in there. You paid for it I can't believe they let it out of the shop with out the bass on.

You want to connect the blue/white on the deck to the blue, and the blue/white in the cars hrns.
