I measured my trunk (2008 Black Bullitt) and found that the dimensions were just big enough for a JL Audio CLS113RG-W7 ProWedge. When I tried to put it in, I realized the box was too big to go INTO the trunk...I hadn't measured the dimensions of the trunk opening. I even removed the trunk lining and the trunk latch. After trying to get it in every possible way, I noticed that if I cut a 1"x3" strip off the lower lip edge, it would just go in. It worked and now sounds AWESOME. I'm not a fan of rearward facing subwoofers, but there is no other orientation this speaker can occupy in the trunk. One downside is that if I get a flat, I have to remove the trunk lining and latch (which only takes about two minutes to do).
i had a custom ported box built for my 13w7, the prowedge was good but ported does sound better, just a suggestion if you ever want to upgrade in the future
