Box for two or three 12" subs?

Default Box for two or three 12" subs?

i have a 87 ssp/coupe. i was wondering if anyone makes a box fortwo or three12" subsfor this car. every box i've seen is too big. thanks

In order for you woofers to sound good, they will need air space in the box. If the boxes your finding are to big, then you shouldnt be putting 3 woofers in your trunk. look up the specs of the woofer and find the minimum size they need to sound good. also, if you need to make a custom box (I had to do this), you can add polyfilm to inside of the box and it tricks the woofer into thinking that the box has upto 25% more space than it really does. I know it sounds weird but I've looked into it and it seems to work. this wont work with ported boxes though. Remember, Ported boxes will always be bigger than sealed boxes for the same woofer.

+1. 2 subs with the appropriate box volume will sound better than 3 with inadequate (sp) volume
