then try using a different audio source to drive the speakers. Turn the deck/amp on and use an mp3 player with a headphone to rca jack to feed a different source to it.

What year is your car kingofqueenz, the same year as the author of this thread(2000)? or is it newer?

Did you test the wires you tapped on to to make sure they were the speakers, b/c there are couple of the same color wires back there that arent speaker wires.

Tryed a different line out converter?

I have done tons of these cars like this and never had a problem with not getting audio.

Dear author,

Look for something called a PAC Trunk Loc. It allows you to use your rear speaker wires as a signal for your amp connections. Has remote/rca. You still have to ground and run the power wire though. I have the same headunit, and it works. Much cheaper than a new unit as well. It should cost you less than $40.

I didn't know we still had a problem. The LOCs long name is a line-out-converter and I am willing to bet your amp has a section labeled "high level inputs" that may already do this. If you do not have the mach system then you can just tap the pos and neg wires at each of your rear speakers and run wire to the high level inputs(if available) or to your LOC.

Nah I don't have a link. I picked mine up at a local audio shop. Just check around, I'm sure someone has them.
