You could probably do it yourself, I've actually been looking into the very same thing myself. You need a specific harness for the mach 460 depending on your year, 99-03 is the same from my knowledge, and 04 is complicated, but metra has a harness for it. The price on a head unit is however much you decide to spend on one, find the perfect one and buy it. And subs, same thing. I wish you luck.

I show how to put a deck in the 460 in my cardomain page. How much you are charged will have more to do with where you are located, and the quality of work you want done. The 460 is not all that difficult, just a couple of funny numbers(woofer impedence) that you need to work around but it is not impossible and with a little tweeking the 460 can sound much better.

That will be the best if you pull out the full mach system(new speakers, and deck). They do make a speaker harness that just plugs into the factory speaker harness so there is no splicing and makes it easlier.

you will be able to drive the stock tweets from your deck but the subs are 8 ohm and will need an amp run. It would be easier to replace the stock woofers and the deck/amps.

How much someone would charge will depend on where you are located, what side of town, how good a quality work you want done.

it really isn't rocket surgery, we can get you through it.

Around 02-03 they did a little change in the wiring of the mach system. You can get the hrns at any car audio shop, and most auto parts stores. If you could take a pic of the back of the factory radio, that will show us what hrns's you need and we can help to guide you. You could also take the radio out and go to a local shop and they could match it up. Be carefull that they don't try to sell you some bogus $50 hrns that you don't need.
