Default how much work is this going to be?

this is the headunit that i bought... it has an external brain, and a 5 in 1, and a tv tuner. http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAu...roductID=17354

besides getting the wiring harness and the plastic kit and some wire connectors what else am i going to need for this install?
oh and what wire do i cut or not connect so "the passengers" can watch dvd's while the car is in motion, or would it matter in a 5sp car?

do you have the mach system? I am not sure hot big the brain is but there is plenty of room under the dash below the radio. There may be a small mach amp there, can't remember if it is on your year or the next they switched.

Metra harness 70-5512 mach intergation harness is what you need if you have the mach system. There is plenty of room to put the brain box under the passenger seat or mount it to the back of the rear seat.

There not hard to put in but there is just more wire running since you have a external brain box. It is just like doing an aftermarket headunit.

I would not waste your time with installing the TV tuner for 2 reasons. 1st You dont pick up any TV stations around my area all you can get is the spanish channel. 2nd is in feburary 2009 when everything goes to HD you will no longer get any TV channels anyway. That is why those TV tuners are so cheap now bc in a couple months you will not be able to use them.

You could always get the sat. TV and put a huge flat dish on the top of your car. Like you see these SUVs or trucks with.
