how hard is it
I will take your props on my work as the sarcasm that you spoke of earlier, don't change your story now. take your props and shove them man they are as important to me as you are to your company....
I think you might have misunderstood when I said that I GOT that car from my parents(mom) that they GAVE me the car. I paid just a little bit under the KBB at the time not that it matters to you since it isn't any of your business. I don't care if your momma didn't hold you enough and you are jelous that I have the mom of the year what EVER your problem is with me is not my problem and I don't care.
I know you don't like me and I don't care what the reason is but I have never personally attacked you. I have every right to hate your company after they way it treated me and I will tell ever friggin person I meet about it if I want to.
Correct me if I am wrong but I think this is the 2nd time that you have backed down from me personally challenging you to show your work. I saw the pics of "stuff from yer shop" but I could show pics of world class systems that I ran some wires in and sanded the forms for. I want to see stuff YOU have done, heck lets see the system of a best buy installer with the super sweet discount?
I don't care that we don't get along but when you want to start personal attacks then I will crap up what ever post you start it in. There is plenty of room for all of us A-holes in here as we need someone with your knowledge and mine as we specialize in different areas but call me or my mother names again and I will bitch slap again........ Bring up the termination as though it was anything BUT an unlawful termination and SLAP!
Zack - You have access to HIGH PAID and HIGHLY TRAINED installers at your fingertips every time you go to work at your super sweet job so why are you asking us A-holes? I can either conclude that either they like you as much as we do or that they do not let you talk to them yet......... Start sweeping the install bay floors, they love it trust me and they will let you talk to them after that. IF that doesn't work then try telling them how good they look with their names embroidered on their shirts and with those fancy mecp patches....

Alright, first of all, i think youre a homo for picking on a high school kid that would probably kick the livin sh*t out of you if you werent hidin behind your moms keyboard.
2nd, the pics i posted were of the jobs that I have done personally, which just happened to be at bby's shop. I guess you could say that my employess helped me, but the design and fabrication was done by me. Why the hell would i back down to you anyway? I didnt back down before did I?
Oh, and i guess my mom didnt hold me enough. Its probably because i was raised to be INDEPENDANT, and not rely mommy and daddy well into my 30's. Hows that workin out for ya by the way? Oh and your "business" is everyone's business because youre the dumbass that put YOUR personal info all over YOUR cardomain page. Just letting you know.
I would love to see you "bitch slap" me. But unfortunately, it's in your computer terms because i really dont think you would have the ***** to try. But if youre ever up for it let me know, I'll even meet ya halfway.

But all in all, i'm sure a really cool guy, because your personality really shows it. For example, picking on high shool students half your age, and how you turn into a streetfighter, but only behind your mommy's computer.
Perhaps you should stop and think about who you are and what you are before you open that "yellow bunghole slinger" (i think thats the phrase you like to use) of yours.
Wow, this really got crazy. I guess i should tell everyone that jim (gtredfire) actually works with me, but i dont work at best buy. I agree w/ you ttocs best buy f'in sucks imo. I applied there back in HS for a part time job. I went to the interview, passed the drug test, was told that i was hired, and they never called me back like they said they would. Then about a week later, i called them and they said the position had been filled already. What a bunch of dicks. Jim is an insurance consultant for a full time job and he just uses best buy for health benefits and etc. I would really only call it a hobby for him. He's actually pretty knowledgable on a lot of vehicles and he taught me a lot over the years. He's been working with me for about two years now, and i can assure you PReal, he has a college education, and makes a good salary.
I just wanted to let you all know this b/c apparently, you all think he's an uneducated HS graduate that still lives w/ his parents at 24. Im not trying to add any fuel to the fire here, i just wanted to clear that up and let you all know that hes very skilled when it come to car audio installations. Hes just modest about his real job i guess because it doesnt apply to the mustang forums.
Ttocs, believe me, you dont want to see pics of his car b/c its not much to look at other than the sub box, but i have to say that is sounds great.

A couple comments.
It is good to come in and fight in other people's battles sometimes, that is why I am here as well. Scott and Hiss have been helping people on this forum longer then I have and I've been here 2 years.
If you have to work at best buy to get benefits, IMO you do not have a good job. I don't get a check for any of my audio work and therefore I am 100" unbiased. I have had to fix many installs done by the idiots at bby and would never wish my greatest enemy to go there for car audio.
If he has full range comps in the back he really doesn't know what he is doing. Full range rear fill destroys front imaging which is most important in SQ. I don't even run rear fill in most cars becuase it has more of potential to hurt the staging then to help.

As far as the full range comps, SQ, etc. im not really knowledgeable in that area. I can install it in the car, i just cant tune it or piece it together, but thats why i dont give advice on here.
but as far as bby goes, i dont like them either for a lot of reasons. I'm definitely not fightin his battles for him, i just didnt want you guys to think that he lives and breathes bby, even if thats what it seems to you guys. I dont even really hang out in the A/V section but i just happened to see this thread and had to give my .02. He'll prob be pissed at me anyway for tryin to stick up for him.

First of all, DA, where does it say i have comps in the rear? I have comps in the front, but not in the rear. And like i told scott before, not every car audio shop is going to have good quality installers. Funny, because there are a lot of "mom and pop" shops around my area and it seems like im always fixing their work.
One thing ive noticed about you is that when you give someone advice, youre still 100% techincal in your responses. Even scott knows to "dumb it down" for the newbs. Maybe it makes you feel smart to talk like you know more than you really do. Probably related to being an *** MAN at autozone, what with how all they do is read the manual when trying to give their customers advice and all.
Oh and if you actually look, ive been around on here a lot longer than scott and hiss. Even before scott got his "momstang" and before hiss's cobra was even built. My life doesnt revolve around this forum.
From what ive learned about you three, its not about helping the people that have legitimate questions, its about all the "techs" sittin around measuring each others dicks to see who is bigger. I guess what im tryin to say is that you belittle the people that cant afford all "top quality" **** that you guys have and then theyre pm'g me because they dont feel like getting lectured on why "alpine, etc" sucks.
So, what youre suggesting, is that when someone posts a question, we should all sit back and wait for one you "cool" cats to answer it, and the if youre wrong(dont worry, that'll never happen), the rest of us can just concurr with a "hey, good job scott" or maybe even a "well damn Hiss, youre prob the smartest guy i know", or "PReal, i hope someday i grow up to be just like you". If thats what you want i guess that could be arranged, because we all know i'm just gonna get a pm from the OP later anyway to deliver the CORRECT answer, or even one w.out a smart *** comment to go along w/ it.

Thanks, but it doesnt matter to these idiots what i do for a living becasue they cant seem to look past the fact that i work at BEST BUY, ooh.
I never said i was "part time" car audio supervisor. I guess thats why i cant be part time and still have benefits. I guess you could say that im just a really hard worker, you know, put in a lot of hours. Oh wait you wouldnt really know anything about that. Scott, thats just an example of how someone can be independent.
Well, im sure the mail system works out there just as well as it does here.

I fully understand that most car audio shops are full of morons, that is why I suggest everyone on this site to try and tackle installation. Building a proper sealed or ported box is easy. Home depot can even cut the MDF if you don't have the equipment (but you have to watch out for morons here as well). I know for a fact that I have helped 10 times more people on this forum get quality audio setups both in equipment and installation. Ask Joeybutts, pickuoff, mccop or one of the many others. I haven't seen you actually recommned a setup to anyone. Your help isn't any!!!
I am rarely 100% technical in my responses. Unless it revolves around techincal issues like VC cnfig and wiring, amp output, or box design. Believe it or not people smarter then you actually used engineering to design the equipment you use.
My autozone days are long behind me, but I sure wish there had been a manual.
I actually haven't frequented the forum for a while, I've been lurking a little and only responding to posts where I could really help with the expertise I have gained over the years. For some reason you seem to post in every topic recently and haven't really helped anyone...
You might get a PM from this OP but guess what, hiss, seight, scott and I have already answered 100!!!
Alpine doesn't suck, you can do much better then a type R for the money and their speakers don't sound that great for the price. I think their PDX amps are great where space is an issue (I installed one under the front pass seat of an 08 mini cooper S) and also thing thier HU's are in the top two or three companys that are readily available (only behind eclipse IMO).
I don't have anything near top of the line in my cars. My daily driver runs CDT comps, Eclispe HU and sub, and Diamond D5 amps. I only have leftover parts in my mustang, CDT comps, eclipse HU, ED subs, Concept and fultron amps.
Just don't post about what you don't know. Telling someone to add a 4 channel amp becuase it will brighten up everything is not helpful. Ask them what they really want, how much they want to spend, and then recommend some products that can help fill their need. Working at bby makes this hard for you becuase it seems like you only know thier products; there is much better for less money.
