what 10's do you like?
ttocs,
I know you are an audiophile, you can tell from your past posts. (and that you know your stuff)
Have you heard of the new Realm line? They are owned by Scosche which is a great quality company. I heard these speakers out at SEMA and they are superb! excelent quality and amazing tone reproduction.. Check them out at www.realmaudio.com
Additionally the size requirements for their 10" go along with what you were describing as box dimensions.

I really wanted to go with ID. I installed their speakers almost 10 yrs ago and fell in love with them then, they have not changed much since then(neither has diamond). I was looking around and came across the diamond gear just by chance, old habits die hard I guess but the sub is a dual 4 ohm that I will be bridging to 2 ohm mono which shows 430 watts rms on the birth sheet.
The carpentry portion of the box is completed. I am only waiting for the sub to arrive(any day) to cut the hole to mount it. Today I started making the forms for the fiberglass to go over and I am almost finished with that portion. Tomorrow I am going to pull it back out of the truck and I am using floral foam to make the gentle curves between the forms but I hope to have it almost finished by the weekend.
