the amp will depend on the voice coil impedence and configeration. IE - 4 ohm singe voice coil

Gotta give us some info... what's written on the magnet (back of each sub)? Watts, Ohms, etc.

Here are the 3 different 12 inch subs they offer right now, assuming yours really arebrand new, they are one of these.

So, it's likely you either have the RE, or the EN model, considering the other retails for 350$ each. The RE requires 250w RMS @ 4 ohm load. The EN only 200w RMS @ 4 ohms. Both are single voice coil woofers. This being said, I recommend a Class D monoblock style amplifier. Shoot for one with 400 watts RMS and it will be fine for either subwoofer. Pay no attention to the "Peak" power level B.S. The numbers that matter are the Root Mean Squared rating, hence RMS. That is the amount of power the subwoofer will handle continuously, where is peak simply is what it could handle for a short "burst" , i.e. tenths of seconds. Here are a few choices, i do not know your budget..but here goes..

These are all decent brands, and reliable products. Kicker is definitely the best out of these three, but i have owned kenwood and alpine as well, and never had any issues. You will also need a wiring kit with power, ground, remote turn on, RCAs, fuse block, etc. Just search Ebay stores in car audio section and you will find the best deals. everything is warranted and new as long as you buy from an ebay store or powerseller and pay attention to the listing. Hope this helps you out, Good Luck!
