98 head unit replacement

I'm buyin a new head unit for my 98. which one do i replace? cause it's a dual deck (cd player and radio are seperate). so which one do i take out to put the head in?

You pull them both out but u can put it into the slot where the tape player is. Then buy a storage compartment for the bottom part. They have them at places like circut city and best buy and are not that expensive. I know this because I let Circut City install it into my 96GT. Plus you will also need to get an amp bypass plug or run all new speaker wire for it. They had to run new speaker wire in mine because they couldnt get the plug to work properly.
