My CD player seems to be jammed. When i put it on CD, it just says "initializing" and then goes back to radio. I had just ejected all the cds because it had been acting up a little when switching from disc to disc. there might be one left, i'm not sure. It keeps making that jammed sound before i even start the car, its driving me insane!

What can i do to resolve this myself?

My car was exported to where i live, south america suriname, so taking it to the dealer isnt an option.

 

suriname? I know I am a dumb american but is that a typo?

Unfortunatly there is not much you can do to fix the indash changer other then replace it. Ford has never managed to make a good transport mechanism and it always fails.

 

dodge also has the same problem. they are crap. change to a single disc.
