Default Replacing mach head unit

Well I have the Mach 1000 and I want to change out the cd player. But I been read post about the subs not working after. I know some people have got it to work, but Im not sure how. I did find this, go to the very bottom http://www.installer.com/cars/by_car.php?carid=2244 Is that what it takes to get it to work right or is there a easier way?

it is not a big deal to add a deck to any of the mach systems. Page 2 of my cardomain page shows how I did it in a mach 460 system but the bigger ones are done the same way. With the correct hrns wired correctly the subs will play. Don't listen to anyone that says anything different, let me know if/when you have questions and we can get you through it......
